Ranked #1 for momentum, in our first year.
BusinessRate named Carcis Autobody Repair the number one auto body shop in Vancouver, WA in its September 2026 Momentum category. It's based on Google reviews, so it came from customers, not from us.
We opened this year. A new shop has no history to point at, which is the hardest part of starting one: everybody wants to know who has trusted you before.
The Momentum category measures exactly that early stretch, the shops customers are rating and recommending right now rather than the ones with the longest history. Coming first in Vancouver in our opening year says something we couldn't have said about ourselves.
What it's actually based on
BusinessRate is an independent rating service, not part of Google. Its rankings draw on public Google review activity for businesses in a category and area, which in practice means what our customers wrote after we handed their keys back.
So it isn't a judgment on our paint work by a panel of experts. It's a measure of what the people who came through the door said afterward. We think that's the more useful one.
What we're doing with it
Nothing changes about the work. Carlos still does every repair himself, you still get the estimate straight, and the launch pricing of 10% off still runs through February 14, 2027.
What it does change is who hears about us. If you're deciding between shops and you have no way to tell them apart, an award built on what other customers said is at least a real signal.
Thank you
To everyone who picked a shop that had been open a matter of months, who waited while we got it right, and who took a minute to leave a review afterward: this is yours. If we've worked on your car and you haven't left a review yet, it genuinely matters, and it takes about thirty seconds.
The work behind it.

Dents and scratches pulled from a black 2014 Ford Focus
A black 2014 Ford Focus came in with dents and scratches along the driver's side. Black paint hides nothing, so the panel had to read flat under reflection.
