Rear door and fender collision repair on a maroon RAV4

A maroon Toyota RAV4 came in with a damaged rear door and fender. Panel work and a factory colour match put it back to the line it left the factory with.

The impact caught the rear door and carried into the fender, so the damage crossed a panel gap. That is the part that decides whether a repair looks right afterwards: both panels have to come back to the same line, or the seam between them reads as wrong even after the paint is perfect.

The door skin and fender were worked back to factory contour rather than replaced outright, then refinished in the vehicle's original maroon. Matching a maroon is harder than it sounds. It is a colour that shifts noticeably under different light, so the blend was carried into the adjacent panels rather than stopped hard at the seam.

This one went through an insurance claim. The process is the same either way at Carcis, and the customer sees the same estimate.
